He is currently doing weekend weather on KOLO8 NewsNOW. His father, Bob Stoddard, owned KATO, later KBET(AM 1340), he died July 6,1975 at the age of 63. Dick was a member of the Nevada Air National Guard and has the "NWA" TV Seal of Approval. His mother was the legendary "TV BETTY" who hosted the afternoon movie "Be My Guest" on KOLO for 18 years. She died on Sept.15,2010, at the age of 90.
